United Rentals is the largest equipment rentals provider in North America with an even larger task: to change the way work gets done, one project at a time.
To illustrate this, we did the unprecedented in an industry slow to adopt tech. We created an immersive microsite, ABetterWorksite.com, that explored how United Rentals combines equipment, data, safety and expertise to tackle worksite inefficiencies.
We partnered with Active Theory to leverage depth mapping technology that added depth to existing fleet images and made them feel like they were on the ground. A magnifying lens effect was also applied to give users a “clearer view” into all our worksites. From there, they could explore hotspots to learn more about United Rentals’ offerings.
